Public warned over illegal use of ‘dodgy box’ TV streaming

first_imgGardai have warned the public over the illegal use of set-top boxes, known as ‘dodgy boxes’, which are without legitimate subscriptions from service providers.It comes as Gardai in Cork conducted a major operation targeting the use of fake set-top boxes.Detectives believe that up to 20,000 people nationwide are using the fraudulent boxes.
