POLICE LOG for June 12 Man Woman Arrested After Crash Needle Found

first_imgWILMINGTON, MA — Here are highlights of the Wilmington Police Log for Wednesday, June 12, 2019:Police responded to a jeep vs. tractor trailer crash on Ballardvale Street. Jeffrey M. Doherty (31, Woburn) was arrested for Operating A Motor Vehicle With A Suspended License; Carrying A Dangerous Weapon; Marked Lanes Violation; Negligent Operation Of Motor Vehicle; Outstanding Warrant; and Being A Fugitive From Justice On A Court Warrant. (5:40am)Rachel M. Adams (33, Cambridge) was arrested on a warrant. Adams was a party involved in the crash above. Animal Control Officer retrieved a dog from the jeep and dropped it off to the owner’s brother in Woburn. (5:40am)A needle was found on Burlington Avenue. Police retrieved the item and brought it back to the station for proper disposal. (9:19am)Police reported debris on the inbound tracks near the bridge on Richmond Street. Keolis notified. DPW removed “a child-sized BMW car.” (11:04am)Police requested the Water Department after Verizon struck a water main with a drill on Chestnut Street. (11:17am)A 911 caller reported someone keeps cutting roses from her Westdale Avenue front yard. (5:30pm)A caller reported a gold sedan with several occupants parked for an extended period of time on Kilmarnock Street. Police responded. A small amount of Class D was confiscated for destruction.
